Cymbopogon Nardus-Steamed Distilled-Part used: Herb. Citronella has a slightly sweet and lemony aroma with a woodsy note to it. It blends well with citrus oils, geranium, cedarwood,eucalyptus, peppermint and pine. Safety Date: Non-toxic, non-irritant. May cause dermatitis in some individuals. Avoid during pregnancy. Its most useful quality seems to be as an insect repellant and may also help pets get rid of fleas. Also known to clear the mind, may be useful for headaches and migraines. Its deodorant and stimulating properties always refresh sweaty tired feet. Flash point: 170 F.
